Knife, Strap & "T" Hinges
Series 1000 Knife Hinges

Our knife hinges are typically used on light weight lids, such as briefcases, although they can be used for heavier applications like pickup tailgates, for example. They are available in a wide range of sizes, materials and finishes, with or without detents, which lock the hinge in the open position.

Side play in Knuth knife hinges is minimized by joining the two hinge halves with a peened rivet. This results in smooth actuation and positive locking.
